How to get to the Algarve!
To help you make your journey to the Algarve as smooth and as pleasant as possible we have selected a few options for you to consider.  We can also research other routes but these are some that we have had personal experience of and can recommend. Of course there exist other ways of arrival, please do not hesitate to ask us!

By Air to Faro:
During the Summer there are flights with Edelweiss/Swiss, Easyjet and Air Berlin from Zurich, Basel or Geneva to Faro/Portugal. Throughout the Winter there is twice per week direct flights from Zürich to Faro! Throughout the year Swiss, Easyjet and TAP operate flights to Lisbon. (Prices vary depending on the airline). 

Faro airport is after the airport in Lisbon, the second largest airport in Portugal and the most important airport in South Portugal. Faro is the first stop for tourists who travel to the Algarve. But also always businessmen use the Faro airport for their trips to the south.
The Aeroporto Internacional de Faro has been expanded and modernized in recent years to meet the ever-increasing number of passengers. Portuguese Prime Minister António Costa inaugurated the renovated building on Monday 17th July 2017. The modern designed terminal building offers everything that passengers need. From bars, cafes, restaurants, ATM and numerous shops, everything is available.

Transfer options from Faro airport:
- Approximatley 90km (ca. 1 hour) by road on the motorway (A22). We are happy to arrange a rent a car for you!
- By Taxi (approximately 90,00 Euro one way)
- Shared Private bus or minibus transfer to your holiday home (approximately 28,00 Euro per person)
